Rodger Phillips (aka Steady Habit) has been collecting Jamaican music for over 25 years. Some will remember Phillips from his time as vocalist of the Connecticut ska band Johnny Too Bad and the Strikeouts. For 15 years he also hosted a weekly show on WRTC FM Hartford. When he’s not digging for rare 45s, Phillips raises organic vegetables and grass-fed beef at his farm in Farmington.
